Brief history of the Company
1997 год
OAD-27 was incorporated in 1997 as a company engaged in the retail trade of pharmaceutical goods and medical devices. The name OAD-27 comes from the Russian acronym of “Pharmaceutical Business Organisation” and “27” is the number of the first pharmacy that was purchased by the network. The Company started with a small pharmacy in the city centre, offering its customers a wide range of products, spanning from basic drugs to medical devices. With the gradual expansion of our network of pharmacies and product range, OAD-27 entered the wholesale market, separating the retail network into an individual structure under the name Askorbinka + Semya Aptek, which became one of the leaders in the retail pharmaceutical market in the region.
2016 год
In 2016, the Company obtained a licence for the wholesale trade of medicines and a warehouse located in the Almaty region. This move allowed the Company to expand its operations, whilst allowing a more effective inventory management of medicine.
2017 год
Due to a dynamic expansion of the business and the need for additional warehouse space to ensure an uninterrupted supply of medicine, in 2017, the Company obtained a licence for wholesale trade of medicine, as well as opened its warehouse in the city of Konaev. Over time, OAD-27 has grown into a pharmaceutical Company which spread across several regions of the country, successfully participating in the country's public procurement. Currently, the Company is actively developing not only its retail and wholesale business but also the distribution of orphan drugs to help patients with rare diseases gain access to the required medicine.
In its activities, the Company has always given much value to the quality of customer service and products offered. Striving for innovation, professionalism and a responsible approach to business has allowed OAD-27 to occupy a stable position in the market and win the trust of many customers.
